Two new math libraries which are listed below can improve the performance
of math intensive applications on all PowerMac models. Prior to MacOS 7.5.3
(Update 2.0), Apple provided all math subroutines in a sharable library
called MathLib which is kept in the Extension Folder inside the System Folder.
With MacOS 7.5.3 the math library is built into the operating system directly.
MacTempasPPC and CrystalKitPPC ship with an improved version of the original
MathLib provided by Apple. However, the two libraries listed below, one
from Motorola, the other by Matt Granger are from 1.5 - 3 times faster than
the Apple math library. For optimimum performance, download either of the
libraries below and place either file in the extension folder.

Upgrades to the current PPC versions of both MacTempas and CrystalKit are
available to all registered users of MacTempas and CrystalKit PPC versions
at no charge. However, if you received your order prior to February 1, 1996,
you must obtain a new installation disk from Total Resolution. The versions
posted here will not work with your hardware key without running this new
installation program. If you are a registered user of the PPC version of
either MacTempas and CrystalKit, please contact Total Resolution to have
the new installation program mailed to you. You can contact us by e-mail (roar@totalresolution.com) and provide
us with
the appropriate information so that we can mail you the new installation
